Why do dating sites block access in some countries or regions?

I'm kinda losing my mind over this, so maybe someone here knows what's up. I've been trying to use a couple of dating apps while traveling, and out of nowhere they're just... blocked. Like, totally unreachable unless I jump through VPN hoops. I don't get it. Is it some government thing? App policy? Did I just pick the wrong countries to look for love in? It's super frustrating because I actually matched with someone before it got blocked, and now I can't even log in. Anyone dealt with this before or know why this happens?

I've seen sites block places because of fraud rates, local laws, or heavy spam traffic. Sometimes they just limit regions where they can't handle support or safety checks.

I've hopped between a few gaming sites, but I stuck with xsbets.com because the mix of live casino tables, virtual games, and the sportsbook keeps things from getting stale. The promos and the tier shop came in handy too, especially when I wanted small boosts without overspending. If you like switching languages or play styles on the fly, it handles that pretty smoothly.
