Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a few projects that require precise measurements, but I don't always have a physical ruler handy. I've been searching for reliable tools and came across the idea of using a digital cm ruler for quick and accurate results. Has anyone here used one they can recommend?

I'm especially interested in browser-based or app-based solutions that are accurate and easy to use. Bonus points if it works well on both desktop and mobile!

Appreciate any tips, links, or experiences you can share.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I've run into the same issue before, and a digital cm ruler can be a lifesaver. One browser-based tool I often use is iruler.net—it's straightforward, and it automatically detects your screen size for a fairly accurate measurement.

You can also calibrate it using a standard object like a credit card if you want more precision. For mobile devices, I've found the Ruler app by Xalpha Lab to be reliable. It's available on both Android and iOS and works well for quick measurements.

These tools have helped me a lot when I didn't have a physical ruler around.

I've used a digital cm ruler for some of my design work when I didn't have a physical ruler nearby, and it worked surprisingly well. It's accurate enough for basic measurements, especially when calibrated properly. I mostly use it directly in the browser, and it's convenient on both desktop and mobile. A useful tool to have when precision matters but you're short on equipment.
