OK so the wife and I are new to Camplite. Purchased a used 2014 14db at the end of May.
On the way home from picking it up we did the newbie mistake of not latching the small window over the kitchen sink.  Needless to say it is now beside the highway somewhere in Arkansas.
Started searching for a dometic replacement window online and had real hard time finding a replacement.
Did not go to the local dealer and most were from europe at over $300 and a long lead time.
During my search I found a company called Tern Overland in Arizona. They carry a european window that actually looked better to me than the original, Theirs is also dual pane acrylic but has two pivot arms instead of one. It also has a nicer (t me screen and privacy shade. The screen is black aluminum mesh and seems more robust than the dometic.
The price for this window in the 300 mm high by 500 mm wide was $229 plus shipping. I removed the dometic seal and shade and the cutout for the window was almost exact to the new one(+ 1/8 inch) so I ordered it and it fit perfectly with no modification required to the cutout area. Even had  approx. a 1/8 inch adjustment to center  the new window and lineup the screws. It has a nice built in gasket and an inner frame that clamps the entire window to the opening with abut 11 screws for a very solid feel. I have enclosed some photos. The window has a slight (8%) tint and the frame is black aluminum rather than the dometic grey. It is also smaller on the exterior . I left the Dometic silver top piece attached as an added" rain gutter". If the aesthetics bother you then you may still want to hunt down the original, I like the look of the new one just fine as it matches the black anodized door and other trim on the exterior. I am not affiliated with Tern at all so don't let the post card in the photos influence you. Just wanted to post an alternative to the dometic that seems a lot easier to get and in my opinion is built better and arrived in 4 days.
regards,

Bob

Looks good - I think!  Small thumbnails and huge pictures make it tough to get a good view of the pics (at least using mac/chrome)

+1. I just posted some pics over at the Aluminumcamperforum and 500 KB works about right. Those above are 4-6 times as big, so it takes lots of scrolling right and left and up and down to see the whole image when you click on the thumbnail.

Hi there! Thanks for sharing your experience. It sounds like you found a great alternative to the Dometic window with the one from Tern Overland. The dual-pane acrylic, improved screen, and robust design seem like solid upgrades. Plus, the fact that it fit almost perfectly with minimal adjustments is a big plus. The black aluminum frame also matches nicely with your exterior trim. For anyone facing a similar issue, this window from Tern Overland seems like a worthwhile option, especially considering the price and quicker shipping compared to European alternatives. For those in Toronto, you might also want to check out local options with window installation Toronto for additional solutions.
