Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone out there has some insight on how hitch weight changes with added weight on the Camplite 11FK. Dry weight is 350, but wondering what it might climb to (ball park) with propane, battery, full water tanks, etc. Not sure how the weight will be distributed, other than propane and battery which will of course add directly to tongue, and just hoping to see if anyone has experience with this model.

Thanks!

Travel trailer tongue weight is usually around 14% of trailer weight. This is not a hard and fast rule though as many things can change it.

If Dry tongue weight on the 11 is 350 then add the weight of propane bottles, the battery, and factor in anything stored close to the tongue. I can easily see the weight climb to 500 on that trailer.

Fresh water tanks are usually right over the axle so that has very little affect, if any on tongue weight.
