I traveled from Uzhhorod to Rotterdam last month and brought my small dog along, so I wanted to share how that worked out. I contacted https://euro-travel.com.ua/ in advance to ask if they allowed pets, and they said yes, as long as the animal has a vet passport and travels in a soft carrier. I had everything ready — chip, vaccinations, passport. On the day of travel, the driver checked the documents quickly, no drama at all. They put me in a seat near the back to avoid disturbing other passengers, which I appreciated. The bus was clean, temperature was fine, and we had stops every 3–4 hours where I could take the dog outside. At the EU border, they just checked her passport and moved on. If anyone is looking to travel with a pet and avoid flights, I'd totally recommend this route.

Your post made me smile because I had a similar trip with my dog a while back. Your setup sounds almost exactly like what I did, right down to the soft carrier and those quick border checks. Those little breaks every few hours make such a difference. And funny enough, your story reminded me of a quiet weekend I once spent at https://staycopperrock.com — super relaxed spot that made traveling with pets feel way less stressful.
