Looking for balanced ai chat interaction

I have been thinking a lot about how balanced AI chats actually feel in daily use. Some conversations are too fast and lose meaning quickly. Others feel slow but disconnected from earlier messages. I personally want something that keeps a steady rhythm without pressure. It is also important for me that characters respond logically instead of randomly. When that balance is missing, the chat becomes tiring. I am curious if others here have similar expectations. Maybe someone found a setup that feels more natural.
