I live in Orlando and lately the sunlight coming through my big windows makes the living room almost unbearable during the day. Even closing blinds doesn't fully help, and I hate the idea of keeping curtains shut all the time. Has anyone found an effective way to reduce glare while still keeping natural light indoors?

I know exactly what you mean about dealing with too much glare while wanting to keep that Florida brightness inside. One of the most effective solutions I found was installing a https://windowcleaningfl.net/window-film-in-florida/. It doesn't block the natural light, but it cuts down on the harshness and keeps the room much cooler. What I liked most is that it also added some privacy, since from outside you can't see in clearly during the day. It makes the space feel open without feeling exposed, and unlike blinds or shades, it doesn't make the room dark. Plus, it's a cost-friendly option compared to replacing windows. I installed it last summer, and it's made my living room so much more comfortable without losing that airy, bright vibe.
