Mine had a similar issue and it turned out the door frame had shifted slightly after a season of heavy rain. I called 24 hour property maintenance and they sent someone out the same day to check it. They adjusted the hinges and added weather stripping where the seal wasn't tight anymore. It's been good since then. Might be something simple like that on yours too.

I've had good results by sealing any gaps with a high-quality sealant and regularly checking for wear. Adding extra support to weak spots has also helped prevent leaks and structural issues.
