Hey Capt Billy - look at the Camplite forum. I just posted some info that might help. I had the same issue and was frustrated at the lack of support and availability. I ultimately was able to find a direct replacement for my 2014 14DBS kitchen window. Once I got the window (and hardware) it took about 10 minutes to replace.

Hi PC Eric - I know this post is almost a year old, but I wanted to tell you I had a heck of a time finding a replacement window for my 2014 14DBS. I could not find a domestic supplier for the original windows (I exhausted all resources). I found an exact replacement with the window hardware (we left the kitchen window open and it blew off on the freeway with the hardware) from a company called Caravan Crazy in the UK. Evidently the windows used on the Camplite trailers are used much more frequently in Europe. The cost was not cheap, however I was very happy that the new window matches the rest of the windows and it took less than ten minutes to install. The 2018 Camplite trailers use a different window but the people at Caravan Crazy were very helpful and might be able to help. Anyone who has an older Camplite and has trouble sourcing windows should at least see if this company can help. Email is [email protected]

My awning on our 2014 DBS is about ready to be replaced. The fabric is rotting, the left support was clipped by a big rig and slightly bent a couple of years ago, and the pull strap just tore off. I would like to replace the 10' awning with an 8' awning to allow the window on the right side to open without the awning being open. Has anyone done this? I took a quick measurement and if the left support arm is in the same location, the right arm support bracket would be located about 4" into the front wheel well. Looks like I would have to shift the whole awning to the right about 4-5". I would appreciate any suggestions or comments from someone who has successfully done this.

Hi - we lost our small kitchen window on our 2014 14DBS as well. We forgot to latch the window and lost it on the freeway in Montana. What year is your trailer? I had a difficult time finding a replacement in the US as Dometic no longer supports the Sietz D5 windows we have on our trailer. I was able to find a direct replacement with hardware from a company called Caravan Crazy in the UK. I believe Livin' Lite changed the window type in either 2015 or 2016; you might have better luck finding a newer window.

Yes, I finally got around to replacing the decals on our trailer. I was able to find replacements at replacement decals.com - got a set of two decals for 89.95

We have a 2014 14DBS and I installed vent covers on both vents. I sat on the roof to do this - I'm about 250 lbs and the roof supported my weight with no issues.

Hi Lauren - We own a 2014 14DBS and we lost our kitchen window this last fall when we left it open for the first time in seven years. The window size looks about the same as on the 11FK (300mm x 500mm). Needless to say I had a very difficult time finding a replacement. We also have Dometic/Sietz windows (model C5 - your 2017 might have a different window, I think the C5 windows were changed in 2016)). Of course I contacted Dometic - they no longer support or supply these windows. I looked through the forum and tried to contact some of the companies that were suggested - all dead ends. I looked at online window fabricators and RV salvage companies - again no luck.
  I then started to look at European RV suppliers and had much the same result until I found a company in the UK by the name of Caravan Crazy. they immediately replied to my initial email by saying they could get me a exact replacement. After a couple of emails back and forth, I ordered a replacement window from Caravan Crazy. Since the original window was lost, I also needed the latches and strut for the window, which they also said they could supply. The window took about three weeks for them to get, and I received the window abut a week later. The window was an exact replacement and took me about 10 minutes to install. The window was not cheap - about $900 for the window, hardware, and shipping, but I am really happy that I was able to keep all of the windows in original condition.
  Also, while I was looking for the replacement I did use a piece of tinted plexiglass cut to size at TAP plastics. I had it made it 1" larger than the rubber gasket and had them drill two holes in the center of the piece. I then used a piece of aluminum bar stock from Home Depot, a couple of bolts, washers and wing nuts to clamp the plastic in place and seal it to the original gasket - DO NOT REMOVE THE GASKET OR USE SILICONE! I was able to seal the opening and use the trailer without altering the opening; when I received the new window, I was able to remove the temporary plastic and install the replacement in under 10 minutes.
I attached some pictures of our windowless opening, the temporary plastic, and the new window.

Sorry this is an old post but I believe EGS in regards to the Frame of the trailer most likely stands for "Electro-Galvinized Steel"

We own a 2014 14DBS and after many miles traveled and years of use the large vinyl Campsite decal on the front of the trailer is in bad shape. Has anyone had any success in sourcing and replacing this decal? I can just take it off but I would like to retain the original look of the trailer. We don't see too many Camplites out here in California and we get a lot of folks asking about our trailer.

Hello - I have a 2014 14DBS that I am looking to replace the sink faucet on (my wife hates the OEM faucet). I did a quick look under the sink and it  looks like maybe a standard residential 3 hole faucet with 8" spacing would work as a replacement for the original. Am I on the right track or are there any watch-outs or issues I need to know about?
