CampLite Travel Trailers / Re: Loose coupler

It's brand new, you shouldn't need to worry about any of this. Take it the dealer or local shop to take a look at. Perhaps you have.. what did they say?

There were a few items that weren't perfect with my trailer, also a 2017 16BHB, when it arrived in April. There aren't any Camplite dealers in my area and despite that, the process of getting reimbursement for the punch list was rather easy. Surprisingly pleasant.

Cheers!

I have a 16bhb and a 5 year old girl and a 10 year old boy. We get along great without privacy curtains. I really like the amount of natural light in a small space.

Using something not permanent at first will allow you to assess if you really want privacy curtains. A simple alternative if you're concerned about a tension rod coming loose would be to use adhesive velcro and fabric. Buy fabric, cut to fit. Attach velcro. Put up and down when needed.

Good luck!

Hi there. I have a 2017 16BHB. Regarding closing off the bunks with curtains, it would also close off light from the rest of the trailer. That's one of the things that makes this small trailer nice... amount of natural light/sight lines. Your kids will really like the trailer without curtains. Trust me. Our kids love it as is. Keep it simple. Where you might want to consider a curtain option is for the inside of the door. =).

One thing we did for our kiddos was to take the lower wardrobe, to the right of the fridge, and build a shelf at the mid point ish. This provided a nice spot at their level where they can get to their clothes and stuff. They like a little dedicated space.

Have fun.

Cheers!

How was your summer of camping?

I also live in Flg. Hoping we see a little snow soon.  =)

I can only hope that is the case! Otherwise only minor stuff...  :)  Assuming a gap at the bottom of the door is minor. Dealer believes the gap wasn't there when it left. Any ideas what would cause the door to be tight at the top and not the bottom?  Does this speak to hinge alignment?  Or does this possibly speak to other faulty workmanship?  Thoughts?

Super excited to have the new rig, until I checked it out in this morning. I live in Northern AZ and there isn't a livinlite dealer in my state. Super disappointed to find the fresh water holding tank sitting on my axle by the time I got back from the dealer.  I have a 2018 16BHB with offroad package... and the welds on the water holding tank aren't strong enough to hold up to the freeway?  How is the going to do on forest service roads?  Super disappointing.  My closest dealer is 800 miles away and the dealer I purchased the unit from is 1200 miles away.  The dealer told me to get it fixed, send them the invoice, and they would reimburse me and they would seek reimbursement from livinlite. I appreciate the dealer working with me, I don't appreciate not being able to use the new trailer. Fingers crossed I don't have an issues when seeking reimbursement.
