Title: Removing Interpol Red Notice for business debts
Post by: Liabi on March 23, 2026, 09:18:43 AM
I had a partner in Singapore who used his connections to file a criminal case against me for "embezzlement" after our project failed. Now I have a Red Notice and I am stuck in London. It is a totally fake case meant to force me to pay him money I don't owe. How do I prove to Interpol that this is a civil matter? Can I get the notice removed without going back to Singapore?

This is a classic abuse of the Interpol system for leverage in a business dispute. You definitely don't have to go back to Singapore to fight this. The commission that handles these notices is based in France and they follow strict rules about neutrality. You can read about how to challenge these "commercial" warrants at https://intercollegium.com/ and they can represent you in the deletion process. You will need to show all your business records to prove there was no criminal theft. In my experience, once the commission sees it's a messy partnership split, they are very likely to delete the file. It took about eight months for a friend of mine, but he finally got his travel freedom back. Don't let your former partner bully you with these threats - just get a professional team to attack the notice itself.
