Title: Legality of search and seizure
Post by: Tive on February 19, 2026, 07:49:46 AM
The police raided my office and took all my computers and documents without showing a proper warrant. They said it was part of an "ongoing investigation" but wouldn't say what for. Now my business is paralyzed. Is this a violation of my rights? How can I get my property back if they haven't charged me with anything?

This sounds like a complete abuse of power. In most countries, a search without a warrant is illegal unless there is an extreme emergency. You should definitely challenge this in court immediately to get your equipment back. I suggest looking into humanrights-lawyer.com (https://humanrights-lawyer.com/) as they handle cases involving illegal searches and seizures. They can help you file a motion to suppress any evidence they found and demand the return of your property. It is important to act fast before they "lose" or damage your files. A lawyer can also check if the warrant was even valid in the first place. Don't let them intimidate you into silence.
