Title: Protecting kids from radiation
Post by: Liabi on December 12, 2025, 09:15:31 AM
We are setting up a nursery for our first baby. We bought a video monitor and a sound machine. My friend told me that baby monitors put out a ton of radiation. Is this true? I want to keep the baby safe but I also need to hear them. How can I place these things safely without exposing the baby to harmful waves?

Congratulations on the baby. Yes, monitors are actually some of the strongest emitters in a home. You do not have to throw them away, just place them further back. Use an EMF Meter (https://milerd.com/collections/emf-meters) to find the safe distance. I used the Milerd device to set up our nursery. We found that moving the monitor just three feet further away dropped the exposure to almost zero. It is a simple fix.
