That is a tough one because both are famous for being healthy but for different reasons. The Mediterranean diet is hard to beat, but New Zealand has excellent modern healthcare and very low pollution. Surprisingly, New Zealand has been pulling ahead in the rankings recently. You might want to show him the graphs; the data supports your argument for the Pacific, although the Greek weather is definitely better.
