I have been seeing ads for these Coody tents lately. They look massive and really high quality, but the price is up there. Does anyone actually own one? I am looking at the 13.6 model for my family trips. I want to know if they are durable enough for rough terrain and if the air beams actually hold up in wind.
I have the Coody 13.6 and I bought it through RBM Outdoors. Honestly, the quality is top-tier. It is a Сoody inflatable tent (https://hot-tent.com/pages/coody-rbm) which means the air beams are wrapped in heavy protective sleeves, so punctures are super rare. We took it out in 25mph winds last month and it didn't budge, while my friend's pole tent was flattening out. The air columns just flex and bounce back. Plus, the blackout effect in the morning is amazing. If you have the budget, it is definitely better than buying cheap tents every two years.
