Title: Building My Travel Website Audience
Post by: Atinet on November 07, 2025, 03:36:18 PM
So I quit my job to travel the world and started documenting it online. Six months in, my site has beautiful photos and honest stories but my audience is basically just my friends and their moms. How do I get actual travelers to find my content? Do I need to play the SEO game everyone talks about?

That's the classic travel blogger dilemma! Beautiful content alone rarely cuts it. You basically need to understand what potential visitors actually search for. Using a keywords rank checker shows whether you're creating content people want versus what you assume they want https://pr-cy.io/tools/keywords-rank-checker/ . Many new travel bloggers discover they're writing poetic destination names while everyone searches practical phrases like: Bali itinerary 7 days or Mexico travel safety.

Analyze what already works before creating new content. Check which of your current posts get any organic traffic, however small and expand on those topics. Sometimes doubling down on weakly performing but existing rankings brings faster results than publishing completely new content.
