Title: I ditched spreadsheets for a Gmail-based CRM — best decision ever?
Post by: Rammir on October 14, 2025, 07:27:33 AM
So I finally ditched my messy spreadsheet setup and switched to a Gmail-based CRM last month. Honestly, I can't believe how long I stuck with Google Sheets — it was chaos trying to track client convos, follow-ups, and deals manually. Now everything's linked right to my inbox, and I don't lose track of who I've emailed or when. Curious if anyone else made the same move? Was it worth it for you guys long-term?

I've noticed more small business folks moving away from spreadsheets lately. Guess it makes sense — once the contact list and tasks start growing, manual systems can't keep up. I still use basic Sheets for tracking expenses, but for customer stuff, I'm starting to see why inbox integration is becoming a go-to move. It's all about making things less complicated and more connected.

Yeah, I made that switch about six months ago and haven't looked back. I used to spend hours digging through old emails just to find client info. Now everything pops up right inside Gmail — super convenient. I actually found a few good options on https://nethunt.com/blog/best-crm-for-gmail/ (https://nethunt.com/blog/best-crm-for-gmail/) , and it really helped me pick something that fit my workflow. The automation alone saves me a ton of time every week.
