Title: Have You Ever Bought a Property Without Seeing It First? Regret or Best Decision
Post by: Tercool on September 10, 2025, 09:19:12 AM
Has anyone here ever bought a property without actually seeing it first? I mean like really just relying on online listings and agents? I did it last year when I was still based in London — had zero time to fly back and forth. It felt super risky, especially signing everything without ever stepping inside. The photos looked great, but I kept wondering if I'd end up with some tiny box with weird plumbing. Curious how it turned out for others.

Funny how sometimes the biggest decisions get made from a phone screen while half-asleep on the couch. I haven't bought anything myself, but I've watched a few friends pull the trigger this way. Some were lucky, others not so much — one got a place with an amazing view but turned out to be right next to a noisy construction site. So yeah, it's a bit of a gamble unless you really dig into the details.

Yep, I've done that once — nerves were high but it worked out great for me. The trick is researching the area and going through legit developers. I got one of those off plan properties for sale in abu dhabi (https://in.ae/properties/abu-dhabi) after a friend recommended the area. I liked that I could see progress updates and floorplans, and it gave me time to plan my move. Not saying it's stress-free, but it's doable if you're careful.
