Title: Effective App Blockers and Message Trackers for Kids
Post by: Toporlaz on August 15, 2025, 07:42:29 AM
My kids often download apps I don't approve of and spend hours texting. Are there app blockers that actually work without being too restrictive? How well do message trackers let you see their activity? Is there a reliable child contact management program to avoid unsafe contacts? I'd like suggestions from other parents who have found tools that combine app blocking, location tracking, and messaging oversight in a practical way.

My kids always find ways to download apps I don't approve of, and it's exhausting trying to monitor everything manually. I started using Kroha parental control for monitoring and block sites (https://parental-control.net/en/features/web), and it really helps me balance oversight without being overly strict. I can see which apps they use most, track messages lightly, and even set safe contact lists. The key is not to make it feel like constant surveillance but to create a routine where they understand boundaries. Has anyone else tried combining app limits with casual check-ins?
