Hey everyone,
I'm looking into streaming more seriously and I've been checking out KICK as a platform. I've heard they have some solid monetization options, but I'm not sure exactly what the requirements are to become an affiliate on KICK.
Do I need a certain number of followers, hours streamed, or specific engagement metrics? How does it compare to Twitch's affiliate program?
If anyone here has gone through the process recently, I'd love to hear your tips, timeline, and any pitfalls to avoid.
Trying to figure out if it's worth aiming for right now or later.
If you're aiming to become an affiliate on KICK, the requirements are much lower than Twitch's. Right now, you only need to stream a total of 5 hours and have 75 followers. Once you hit those, go into your dashboard under Achievements and enable subscriptions to start monetizing.
One tip: Kick often checks for 5 hours of VOD content, not just live stream time, so keep your streams available on your channel. Compared to Twitch's affiliate program, Kick is easier to qualify for and offers a 95% revenue split, a big plus for smaller streamers. Network and stay consistent.
