Title: Trusted shop for 6.7L delete kits?
Post by: vtorosort on August 09, 2025, 06:07:00 AM
Anyone know a solid shop for 6.7L delete kits? My uncle had his done a couple of years ago before a big cross-country tow, and it ran like a champ. I've been putting it off, but after my last trip hauling the boat, I noticed the truck working harder than it should. Thinking it's time to get this upgrade sorted before next season.

I ran into the same question last year when I was upgrading my setup. After some trial and error with local shops, I ended up ordering through tunerdepot while browsing their Cummins (https://tunerdepot.com/pages/2020-2025-ford-powerstroke-6-7l-kit) section. The kit was top-notch, and installation went smoother than I expected. Took it on a long haul to the mountains with a full camper, and the difference was huge—better throttle response, cooler temps, and way less strain on climbs. Honestly, I wish I'd done it sooner. If you've got more towing in your future, it's worth the investment.

I've been seeing more trucks around town with deletes lately, especially at weekend meets. A couple of guys were showing off before-and-after numbers for towing capacity and fuel mileage, and the changes were pretty surprising. One had his truck set up specifically for pulling a horse trailer and said it completely transformed the driving experience. It's interesting how these upgrades aren't just for big commercial rigs anymore—more everyday owners are starting to look into them for personal use. Seems like the market for these kits has really grown in the last few years.
