Title: rehab
Post by: Olas12 on August 04, 2025, 09:44:27 AM
I've heard that if someone goes through drug rehab, it can be on their medical or even criminal record. Is this true? Can this information affect employment or legal status?

In fact, information about treatment in a rehabilitation center is confidential and protected by law, as explained in an article on the United Recovery Project website: https://unitedrecoveryproject.com/rehab-blog/does-going-to-rehab-go-on-your-record/ (https://unitedrecoveryproject.com/rehab-blog/does-going-to-rehab-go-on-your-record/) . Medical records do not become public and cannot be disclosed without the patient's consent. Exceptions may be related to legal proceedings, but in most cases, the fact of undergoing rehabilitation does not affect a person's reputation or career. This is important to know so that you do not fear seeking help.
