Title: Tonneau Cover That Can Handle Snow?
Post by: Tive on July 07, 2025, 07:56:55 AM
I live up north where we get a decent amount of snow, and I'm looking for a bed cover that won't collapse or leak under weight. I had a cheaper soft cover before and it totally caved in last winter. Want something that locks, handles snow load, and still looks decent. Any ideas?

I'm in Michigan, so I get the snow issue. After a bad experience with a vinyl cover sagging and freezing shut, I upgraded to an Undercover tonneau cover (https://under-cover.org/) and haven't looked back. This thing is built tough — it's handled several snowfalls already, including one storm that dumped over a foot overnight. No sagging, no leaks. The panels are reinforced and stay completely solid even with weight on top. Plus, the seals around the edges keep out meltwater and slush. It also has a nice matte finish that doesn't scratch easily from snow brushes or ice. Honestly, it's one of the few covers I've seen that's truly winter-ready without costing a fortune.
