Title: Got Concrete Work Done in Lubbock — Highly Recommend These Guys
Post by: concret builder on July 07, 2025, 02:58:05 AM
If anyone here's planning a driveway, patio, or sidewalk project and you're in the Lubbock area — do yourself a favor and check out this team (https://concretecontractorstxlubbock.com/). I used them last month and the results honestly exceeded expectations. They showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and didn't leave a mess behind.

No pressure sales, just honest work. If you're looking to buy this service or want more info, I'd start there.

I just covered mine with white duct tape, and it's held up great through some rough weather. Way easier than dealing with sealants or replacing the whole insert.

I found that some regular latex paints didn't hold up too well on lightweight aluminum, even with a primer. What worked better for me was using automotive paint and then experimenting with concrete oxide colours (https://globmarble.com/decorative-concretes/colors-and-stains2/integral-colors/) mixed into a clear coat for a matte finish. It gave it a cool, subtle look without being too shiny, and it held up great through rain and sun.
