Is it even worth repairing a car if the last repair was barely a month ago, and now I'm already planning to go back to the shop? I kept thinking that I can't really afford a new car right now, but it feels like I'll end up spending more on repairs.

If the car's old, there's nothing you can do. Either you keep repairing it endlessly, replacing everything over and over with new or newer parts, or you consider buying another car. I lean more toward the second option. I'm in the process of buying now, but first I want to order a report from FAXVIN (https://www.faxvin.com/vin-check). I've heard good reviews about this service, they say you can check the car's history in detail, especially for accidents, repairs, theft, and so on.
