Title: How to monitor project deadlines without unnecessary pressure?
Post by: kimberlyto65 on March 07, 2025, 05:31:23 AM
I have a small question that I think is worth discussing. Our team has started to miss deadlines on projects, and this is starting to cause certain difficulties. We seem to agree on deadlines, and everyone understands the scope of work, but by the end, it turns out that not all tasks are completed on time. Perhaps the reason is that the team works remotely, and it is difficult to control who spends how much time on specific tasks. Maybe there are some convenient tools for monitoring tasks and tracking work efficiency.

The team can try, but without a clear understanding of how much time is spent on specific tasks, deadlines will always float. I can recommend Monitask - we have been using it for a few months now, and it has really become easier to manage processes. It's a service for time tracking, but with a task monitoring function. It doesn't just record how many people worked, but also helps you understand which tasks were performed and how much time was spent on them. You can easily customize reports to see the big picture on projects. It's also cool that it takes screenshots of screens - but not for total control, but for transparency in work. We've had cases where someone said they worked all day, but then it turned out that they were working on something else. Thanks to https://www.monitask.com/en/ (https://www.monitask.com/en/), it has become easier to analyze where bottlenecks occur. In general, if you want to understand why deadlines are moving out, I recommend trying this service. I think you'll love it!

I think it's not just a question of the tool, but also of how the processes in the team are organized. Perhaps you should rethink your planning system? For example, if deadlines are constantly being missed, maybe they are set too tight from the start? Or is there a problem with the distribution of tasks? Of course, monitoring tools are useful, but if there's no clear system within the team, even the most advanced software won't solve the problem. Maybe you should try communicating more with the team, analyze which tasks are causing difficulties, and then connect services for monitoring?
