Title: 12v Battery Connection
Post by: Historybuffaz on November 21, 2022, 10:49:16 PM
2018 LL QS 6.0

Is it safe to say that the only thing the battery provides power to is the jack near the bench, where you would plug the fan in? Can't seem to find any other outlet or plug-ins that use 12VDC.

Thanks!

It is possible that the only thing the battery is providing power to is the jack near the bench where you would plug the fan in. However, it's important to double-check the wiring and connections to ensure that there are no other outlets or plug-ins that use 12VDC. It's also important to check the manual or consult the manufacturer to confirm the intended use of the battery.

Mine wouldn't close all the way either until I adjusted the latches and tightened the cables evenly. Took some trial and error, but now it shuts tight without forcing it.

I had a similar issue with my unit and ended up finding a better match by reaching out to a battery cell supplier (https://en.highstar.com/) who really understood the specs I needed. The replacement I got from them held a charge way better than the original and fit right into the existing compartment without modification.
