Title: Cheap car hire for Turkey holiday
Post by: Atinet on April 29, 2026, 02:55:52 AM
Hey everyone, coming from the UK for a summer trip to Turkey with my partner and looking to hire a car for a week. Trying to keep costs down since flights already took a chunk. Any tips on finding a decent but cheap rental? Not fussed about fancy cars, just something reliable that won't eat all my spending money. Also, what's the deal with insurance, do I need to pay extra?

You can definitely find affordable options, especially if you book early and compare local providers. Economy cars from smaller companies are often much cheaper than the big international brands. To find a low cost rent car in Turkey, check out this site that compares local deals https://turkey-rentcar.ru/en/ . Just avoid picking up at the airport if you can, that alone saves you a decent chunk.

Rent for a full week rather than daily, the daily rate drops significantly. Also, check if your credit card already covers rental insurance abroad; if not, buy the full package from the renter to avoid headaches later.
