CampLite Travel Trailers / Re: RV TIRE PROBLEMS?
June 18, 2017, 02:22:01 PM
Our first set did not last more than 6000 miles.
We switched to Duro brand and have had no issues in over 12000 miles.
These tires still show good tread depth.

Very nice.
We have a 2014 14 TBS.
It seems like the perfect balance between size, comfort and ease of use.

QuickSilver Tent Campers / Re: Tire pressure
May 07, 2017, 09:28:01 AM
Here is what I do.
Check the pressure  listed on the tire sidewall.
Weigh your trailer when it is loaded for a trip. You must know the weight.
There are pressure charts on the web for ST tires.
http://www.maxxis.com/trailer/trailer-tire-loadinflation-chart
http://www.goodyearrvtires.com/pdfs/rv_inflation.pdf
Using the chart and your weight adjust the pressure accordingly.
Never exceed the maximum pressure listed on the tire sidewall.

Happy camping.

We use the Sterilite boxes for many different storage containers.
Camp on.

We had a hard to locate leak as well.
Turned out to be where the plumbing exited through the floor near the water heater.
We sealed the wheel wells with a spray on sealant.

That is a nice camper.
The next step up CL21 BHS would give you a bed and dining area.
The slide adds a lot of room.
Still a light rig.

We had a leak on the left side over the bed in our 2014 DBS.
It turned out to be coming from the lens cover screws on the top clearance marker lights!
I found some small corks and put them in the screw holes with some silicone GREASE.
The leak is fixed.
Camp on.

This is a great resource for choosing a tow vehicle.
Remember that the maximum is just that. There is no fudge factor.
No one ever said "I have too much tow vehicle".

CampLite Travel Trailers / Re: CL 16 TBS vs CL 21 BHS

We love our 14 DBS. Plenty of room for two people and a dog.
Being able to pull into a convenience store for gas when travelling off the interstate is a huge bonus.

Beautiful rig.
I too wish they had not pulled the plug so quick.
