I've seen the optional 2 person dinette and do not believe the table folds down. I think you lose too much room with the dinette seating backrests to use it as a bed. Hence the reason not equipping it with a drop down table. I think there are some pics in the aluminumcamperforum.com that I've seen that setup. I wish my 2013 16DB was equipped like the one you're looking at. The scissor couch IMO is pretty useless. Then you have to convert the bed to table and back again everyday.

I would think the owner could send a pic of the dinette. Should be pretty easy to tell whether it was made to come down or not for certain.

CampLite Travel Trailers / Re: Furnace

Is the fan kicking on when you switch the thermostat on? Or is the furnace just not lighting? If it is just not lighting, I would make sure you purge any air out of the propane system. Turn your stove on and see if it lights first try or takes a minute.

The valves you are looking for should be by the heater to turn the hot water on for the trailer. Should be under your bed in the front left corner of the trailer. Should have 3 valves, 1 going into the heater, 1 leaving the heater, and 1 joining the in and out lines.

Valve going into the water heater needs to be "on" - valve in parallel with the water line.
Valve coming out of the water heater needs to be "on" - valve in parallel with the water line.
Valve joining the "in" and "out" water lines needs to be "off" - valve perpendicular with the water line. This is the bypass valve for winterization so antifreeze does not go into the water heater. You would shut the other two valves off and open this valve up to isolate the water heater.

Photos of the failed location are key. Most failures of axle becoming detached from the trailer have been documented as weld failures on the frame side, which is aluminum. This is a documented issue for these aluminum trailers unfortunately. Whoever was tasked to weld that day seemed to either have good experience with aluminum, or a less than adequate welder buggered up welds badly.

The way you have it worded makes it sound like the mounting bracket on the axle is what failed? So there is some confusion on what actually failed.

As far as having it covered. I know there was a recall to have weld areas reinforced if the welds were cracking. With Livin Lite defunct, I don't know where you would get with having KZ cover any costs. Maybe I am wrong though, I am not a lawyer, which may be best to consult.

EDIT: Just realized you posted the failure pictures in another thread. It does appear the aluminum frame weld failed.

My 2013 16DB weighs over the suggested weight of 2750lbs. It actually came in at 2850lbs empty. Not sure what your tow limit is, but just something to keep in mind. My unit has the front dinette instead of stationary queen bed.

Prices are still high, reaching almost $20k for some units.

Were you ever able to find a replacement decal? I just bought a 16DB and the decal is removed, but can still see the outline clearly. I'm thinking of taking it to a sign shop and seeing if they can recreate if I cannot find one pre-made.

Is this still available?

Thanks.

Not sure where you are located, but found this one while looking. Way too far away for me. Located in central florida.
