Upgrades and Modifications / A/C soft start

Has anyone modded their roof ac with a soft start capacitor?  Wondering if my yamaha 2000 watt unit would run the ac if I put one in.

My tires made it one season, replaced with Radials, no issues now...  The tires they give you are as good as the mattress, both should go into the garbage as soon as you get your trailer home.

I bought these, wow they have more power than needed to open the door....
If they are too powerful move the upper mount point closer to the door.  The directions said to put the upper mount 5 cm from the door, this caused a twist in my doors,  I moved it as close as I could and now they work great.

I installed the sea level tank monitoring system.  Highly recommend that one.

I just went by the guage.  It used to only fill to 75 percent, now it goes to 100 percent.  Removing the tank is easy, disconnect the drain tube at the shutoff valve, undo the straps and it is on the ground.  I used a hacksaw to trim the tubes.  Took me about 90 min to complete the job.

Mark,
We need to replace our covers too. We would also like to upgrade to a turbo fan.  Does anyone know if the measurements are universal? Would it be hard to do yourself or should we take it to a professional to have done?

I swapped out my vent vans for a fantastic fan.  Fit perfectly.  I have a 16" DBS

Put 5,0.00 miles on unit and had a 1 inch or so rain storm with 2016 21' trailer parked level.  In waste basket I had between bed and wall captured 4.5 inches of rainwater.  And, due to a small miracle floor below was not wet.  A local trailer repair guy says an aluminum roof can leak even with the best sealant if the aluminum roof is not properly cleaned before sealant is applied. Any others experiencing a similar problem?

I think this was also an issue for Aloha Airlines....  Yes prep is everything, no matter what the material.  If you find the area it is leaking from remove all the sealant from that area, scuff the aluminum with scotchbrite, wipe it down with alcohol, then apply new sealant.

Nevermind, Took the tank down, trimmed the pipes, put it back up, works great now.

Finally getting around to the grey water tank, it only holds 75% of what it should.  I remember there being something about the pvc tube going into the tank to far....

Well I am glad I sent an e-mail to Dexter.  They sent me the build sheet for my axles.  It did not match at all with the manual I received with my trailer. Now I have a complete set of seals, with a spare and a spare set of bearings.

Thanks David!

Great info.  I will be sure to follow directions, no one needs a failure on vacation.

Does anyone know the part numbers for the axle bearing and seals for a 16 dbs with dual axles? Its time to service them and I want a couple on hand before I tear into them.

What model fridge do you have? Some have a heater element to defrost/dehumidify the inside.  It sucks a lot of battery juice.
