Hello Matt:

Bringing my trailer into the usa, should be easy as it was MFG there.  Getting yours up here without a CSA sticker could be a little more problematic.  I will also do some investigation.

Well let me know if you are interested, there is a border, import export issue.  My trailer needs a new awning fabric, but other than that it is in great shape.  I have done a lot of the mods suggested on this forum, so we would need to maybe send each other more pictures and figure out if there is a value difference, and if so how much.

Funny I have no inside pictures...  I need to look into value, I have no idea as there doesn't seem to be many for sale. Sticker was 37,000 Canadian Peso's. Of course didn't pay full price, but have since added flooring, sea level gauges and solar panels. New rv battery this year, and 4 real tires last year, had to get rid of the cheap Chinese tires. Of course I understand you don,t get paid for your add ons, just trying to show that I have looked after the trailer and have made some improvements. I will try to get some inside pics this weekend and try to figure out what to ask.  After a brief internet search I am thinking 22,000 Canadian. Of course that it OBO.  I just am looking for a larger trailer, but I do really like my Camplite.

I have a 16 DBS, 2014 that I might be able to part with.  Located in Calgary Canada

The acrylic windows are double pane, and way better than the single pane glass units.

I replaced my fan in my 16 DBS, and to be honest it was so easy I hardly remember the process.  I had to get some of that sealing putty, other than that it was an hour long process from start to finish.  It fit in the same hole, it was easy.

Love the windows.  Double pane, and when you open them the entire window opening lets fresh air in. The integrated shades/screens are awesome.

We just bought a used 16 DB  that has a regular mattress. It is very comfy,  but extremely difficult to put on bedding. Any ideas as to make putting on the fitted sheet any easier?  With chronic fatigue syndrome,  it wears me out, and can't do much of anything else for the rest of the day.

Also very difficult to raise bed for storage access.  I wish there were two exterior access doors, one on either side. We only have one on one side of the trailer.

You can upgrade the struts that lift the bed. Our mattress lifts on its own if there are no blankets on it.

I can get you the load rating of the struts when I get home from work.

What trailer model do you have?

On mine there is a drain valve underneath the trailer.  No tools required.

I had a Hyundai Santa Fe Xl, also rated for 5000 lbs.  I only had the 16 DBS, but found it also had an issue with the weight of the trailer.  I tried airbags from firestone inside the coil springs, that helped, but in the end I came to the realization that even though the mfg rates these vehicles to tow large weights they really are not suitable for it.

You could try these and see if it helps, I would use it in conjunction with the WDH.

Happy camping
