Post by: 7thunders on October 11, 2017, 07:03:37 PM
Does anyone know the socket size for the water heater in 16DBS.. its over 1 inch, is it 1 1/16, 1 1/8, or 1 1/4? I believe its a suburban heater, dont' remember now..neve payed attention to the brand.
thanks

On mine there is a drain valve underneath the trailer.  No tools required.

bae146  mine also has low point drain lines but that doesn't guarantee the water heater is drained. need to pull the anoid plug, which requires a socket wrench to open its in a tight place.  gotta winterize before too long so i'm getting ready .
thanks for replies.

Mine is 1 1/16

Mine is 1 1/16 as well.  However, I needed to get a 6 point socket as a 12 point would not fit because of the shape of the head on the anode.
