I've had my 2014 16dbs for about 2 years and just noticed the A-frame seems to slope up a bit from the main part of the frame. I am wondering if this is the way it was built. There does not seem to be any signs of cracks or stress. The previous owner bent the back bumper. Could the A-frame have gotten bent too without the coupler bending or breaking first?

I serviced the wheel bearings on my 2014 16DBS yesterday for the first time (trailer purchased 6 months ago). I did as the manual says and jacked it up on the frame rail. I put a bottle jack in between the tires so both raised up. I also put an automotive jack stand in place and lowered the stabilizer jacks until they contacted just for backup.

However, I have the current manual for trailers with the newer spring axles but mine is a 2914. So is this instruction only meant for the newer style spring axles?

Can some explain to me the proper way to jack? Should only a wheel chock/instant jack be used? If so is that mainly for safety or did I risk damaging my axles and/or frame?

My new used 2014 16DBS is my first RV.

I recently had a little leak and caulked over the front seam. It was pretty easy to see where it was getting in.

I think I have it stopped but I was thinking about pulling all the caulk off next Spring and re-doing it all. Is that worth it or will pulling it all off create more headache? Do most people just keep caulking over layer after layer?

I just bought a 2014 16DBS but I don't have it yet. Do these have brakes? I got the manual from where this site but it says nothing about them. If so, what kind?
