CampLite Travel Trailers / ZAMP ready?

'17 CL11FK, what does Zamp ready mean? Is it simply a wired connection from that exterior "plug in" directly to the house battery? Is there a Zamp solar charge converter installed somewhere in my trailer?

Thanks Gibby. I emailed the factory and (within 12 hours) got the same suggestion. They indicated that the lenses are almost impossible to remove without breaking. Bummer. An inside red filter would be much cleaner.

Same thing here on a 2017 CL11FK. Different place though, on the left corner of the fridge. The trim strip is azdel, not wood. Not a moisture issue. Azdel must expand/contract at a higher rate due to temperature changes. My trim strip was bulging from day one. My snooping revealed that the trim strip was installed flush with the ceiling and floor with no room to grow (expand) with fluctuating temperatures. I removed about 1/8" from each end with a sharp blade and reinstalled. Bingo!

Hi all,
Picked up the '17 CL11FK in early August. Enjoying it, about 17 nights so far. Toured the U.P. of Michigan in early September, 1600+ round trip from our western Pa home. Towing with a '14 Jeep Grand Cherokee V6. Looking forward to learning from your experiences.

CampLite Travel Trailers / Porch light 2017 11FK

A challenge. I like to play with night sky astrophotography. The challenge is, when we are camping on an astronomy viewing field you are not permitted to display any white light. Red only. I want to remove the lens on the porch light and install some red "tail light" repair tape to cover the white LED. Can't figure out how to remove the lens. Same with the interior ceiling lights. Any suggestions?

CampLite Travel Trailers / Re: Storage

Just took the Bungalette (11FK) to an old limestone mine here in Western Pa. Quite a few of those around. About 3/4 mile in, constant 52 degrees (no winterizing), constant 60% humidity (I added a desiccant tub from Home Depot) and DARK. $190 total for storage from 1 October thru 30 April. I have access if needed.
