I live in Carol Stream Illinois. I am planning to buy a new Quick silver 8.0 next spring. My tow vehicle is a 2013 RAV4. We plan on ordering one with off road, air conditioning and LP package. Maybe also e brakes and awning. We have never owned a rv.

I bought my first LL camper from Prosser RV near Milwaukee- a QS 6.0. I enjoyed it and ended up selling it after two years for a few hundred dollars more than what I paid. I found my current 2015 QS 8.0 on Craigslist. I wanted a larger camper with AC and with the extended deck on the back. The previous owner had also bought it from Prosser RV. Anyway, you might want to search for models that are a few years old and in good shape rather than getting a new model.
