Title: wall cabinet attachment
Post by: finnski on June 12, 2018, 12:13:37 PM
HI all,

Just bought a used 2014 14db.
I have one side of the cabinet above the jacknife sofa where the cabinet is pulling away slightly from the wall.  I believe there is aluminum framing somewhere near there but can't figure out a great way to locate it. Anybody run into this and have any suggestions?
Thanks

I've been told a standard wall stud finder will work but I haven't tried it to confirm that.

Haven't tried it either. Just assumed it wouldn't work because aluminum is not magnetic?
but  I'll try anyway.

Don't use a magnetic stud finder.  Use one of the sonic ones.  They should work.
