Title: 10' tent trlr electric Q
Post by: Fairmans on May 18, 2018, 05:48:13 PM
I have recently bought a 10'tent trlr, with a 12V battery. The battery has a charge and the lights, fans and furnace work when plugged to shore power. But on its own, I have no power. I'm guessing there is a cut-off somewhere, or a short, but I've tracked the wires from batt on in and find nothing. So, stumped. Anybody have any ideas about resolving this? Thanks.

The Quicksilver doesn't come with a disconnect switch, but you can easily add one.

Check the fuses that are located in the converter.  We purchased an 8.1 in 2015 and none of the 12 volt items would work - in checking the fuses, I found a "dummy" fuse (fuse with no center bar) in one of the slots.  Replaced that fuse and everything worked fine.
