We have a 2018 21RBS wit the dinette option.  I noticed the base on the standard post has an adjustment that is treaded to bring the base tight to the floor after you lock it into the floor mount.  Not sure that will help as we went ahead and bought the Lagun table support from Lagun@marineteak (check them out).  They are based in England but in less than 48 hours I ordered and received the leg through FedEx.  These guys have customer service figured out!  It was pricy ($143) but well worth the investment.   I also bought a larger table top from WebResturant Store (30" square table) that is awesome.

The new table top is heavier obviously than the original so I had to add a U bolt to the side mount for the Lagun leg but it is easily removed to make the dinette into a bed when needed.

We love the extra table and floor space and being able to swivel the table totally out of the way for travel is nice as well.

Hope this helps.

Can you post some pics of your setup?

Did you ever get your freshwater tank fixed. Did you put  a new Lowpoint drain, and cap off the old one. Because I have the same issue. Would really like to know if you did anything or if will be livinlite help in anyway.  I have a 2017 CL 21 RBS.   Thank you Mr Smith.

Yes, I added a 1" blind bulkhead fitting to the lowest point and plugged the existing one.  Now we get a steady supply of water until the tank is literally almost completely empty.  Note- the fitting I got says it is not for potable water.  This is due to some new govt regulations from what I understand and how even brass fittings can leach some lead in the water.  I actually took our fitting and soaked it in water for 2 days and used a lead testing kit which found nothing.  So even though it says not for potable water I feel perfectly fine using it.
Yeah, I doubled up the bumper right away.  The factory said they would do it initially but then for some reason it didn't happen.   We put a genny, camp stove, 5gals fuel,  patio mat and other misc items inside a cargo bag that fits nicely on this thing.  We've already been on one trip with it and it works great.  Probably 75% of the weight is sitting directly on top of the bumper.

Hi All,  we are / or will soon be Newbies as order was placed for CL21RBS today! We will be following this thread with great interest. This will be our first camper, so we are true rookies and excited to get started! We were glad to hear that some tow without load leveling or stability control. That's how we plan on starting. Towing with an '02 Tundra. Any contrary viewpoints? Anyone set up rear bumper with a hitch receiver to carry about 100 lb carrier / bikes? If so, what's the setup and your experience with it? Thanks, look forward to hearing from you!

I added a custom cargo carrier to back of my 21BHS.  You can read about it here:,192.0.html
Upgrades and Modifications / Re: Cabinet struts

I used these type of struts on the swing up overhead cabinets and bench cabinets on my 13 QBB. I had to fabricate some aluminum brackets and used aluminum pop rivets to secure. They look and function great!

Would you mind posting some pics?  This is something I would like to do as well...
My wife wanted an easier way to get to the storage area under the bunk.  Moving the mattress and lid was pain for regular access so I added a hinge and some gas struts and now access is waaay easier.   Note, I had to go with 4 struts for it to be strong enough to lift the lid plus the mattress/sheets/comforter on top.  I also cut another 2" hole on the side to make it easy to lift up.

Awesome, thanks for the info!!!
Thanks!  I will give that a try.

Thoughts on how to crank up the temp in the frig? My freezer is in high 20's but frig stays around 50. I raised the primative adjustment but maybe there is something else?

Ours seems fine...  not sure the exact temp but it seems as cold as our house fridge.  We moved the adjustor thing almost always to the top.
Our 2018 21BHS has the issue with the wheel wells leaking.  I've tried fixing this with some undercoating spray but there is still some getting in.  Does anyone know what type of "rubbery" sealant is put on at the factory?  It almost looks like something brushed on as it is super thick and flexible..
Trying to figure out what type of cap this is that goes on the hot/cold water drain.  It's a 1/2" threaded cap with a gasket in it...  I haven't been able to find anything like it though...

Does anyone know who makes this or where I can buy it as I need another one?
Just curious who makes this tank as there aren't any names stamped on it from what I can see...

I am looking for a new table too for the same reasons.  The laminate edges have become cracked and now flop out around the corners.  Whatever you do, don't use glue to try and reattach.  The glue may/will eat the styrofoam core.  I know from experience.

As well, I actually have cut a hole in the camper wall and created an access hatch.  I bought a ready made door frame from a local camper/trailer store.  The new hatch is a wonderful thing.  I no longer have to lift the bench to get items out.  The door a bought is a little crappy though.  I would really like to be able to buy direct from Livin Lite the same hatch/cabinet doors that were designed into the camper.

Do you have any pics?
