The lower lights that are on the trailer bumper are the brake/turn signal lights.  The upper lights on your trailer are what are called clearance lights.  The clearance lights indicate the width and height of the trailer and are mandated by law.

No need to take off the tent to set the snaps - just need two different tools.  The first is a pair of leather hole punch pliers, the second is a pair of Ironwood snap setting pliers.  Both can be purchased from Amazon.  The main thing that you need to do is to make sure that the tent is centered on the trailer.  You can easily mark the location for the snaps on the tent skirt with a permanent marker, then use the leather hole punch pliers to make the hole for each snap.  The snap tool makes quick work of setting the snaps.  I keep the snap tool and a supply of spare snaps in the trailer as snaps have a tendency to fail, not only on the tent itself but also on the cover.  I also keep a snap setting tool for attaching the tent snaps to the body of the trailer.  IMHO these are required tools and the best tools for the job.

Forget seam sealing unless Livinlite refuses to stand behind the warranty.  Using seam sealer for something that, if you followed the instructions in the manual, should be unnecessary.  The tent should not leak.  You paid for something that should not leak and they should stand behind their warranty and give you a tent that does not leak.  Go back to LL with proof (pictures) - they should replace the tent N/C.  We had the same issue and the tent was replaced no charge.

Check the fuses that are located in the converter.  We purchased an 8.1 in 2015 and none of the 12 volt items would work - in checking the fuses, I found a "dummy" fuse (fuse with no center bar) in one of the slots.  Replaced that fuse and everything worked fine.

Check out page 36 of the owne's manual.  If you do not have one it can be had by going to the Livinlite website, go to the bottom of the page and click "Owner's Manual", select the manual for the Quicksilver tent camper and after it opens go to page 36 for instructions on how to clean your unit.

Page 36 of the Livinlite Quicksilver manual references the cleaning of the tent, awning and body of the tent trailer.  The manual can be found on the Livinlite website at the bottom of the initial page under the heading "Owner's Manual".

Per the manual all cleaning should be done with a sponge or a soft cloth.  I currently use a soft rope mop as it makes it easier to reach the center of the tent while cleaning the outside top.

Here is the link to the manual for that particular model of power converter.  I believe that there have been problems in the past with this particular converter (a quick google search and you could verify if that is so) but I would suggest that you first examine the fuses on your trailers converter.  When we received our trailer from Livinlite the 12 appliances would not function either.  I found a "dummy" fuse installed in the converter.  "Dummy" in that there was no link between the two poles of the fuse and therefore the 12 volts system did not work.

We also have an 8.1 and the installation of a battery disconnect switch was one of the modifications that I have installed on our trailer.  I installed the switch into the lower cabinet face inside the trailer.  Reason for this location was three fold - the first reason for mounting the switch on the interior is mounting on the battery box you would still need to reach under the queen sized bed end of the trailer which I do not prefer to do.
The second reason is that our model has a USB port that shines a blue light when powered and it is sometimes hard to fall asleep at night with this blue glow lighting up the interior of the tent.  With the switch inside the trailer I can connect or disconnect the battery whenever I desire.
The third reason is that it made more sense for me to install it on the interior.  When breaking camp and prior to closing up the trailer I just flick the switch to disconnect the battery.
I know that others may disagree with my choice of placement of the switch but it works for me.  Here is the switch I purchased - made all the connections through the negative battery cable.

The one inch thick UHMW material can be purchased through McMaster Carr at McMasterCarr.com.  Just type in "UHMW" in the search bar on their site and it will take you to multiple types of UHMW material.  I used the white material and got it in a sheet so I could cut the material to specific deminsions to fit under the rack.

The Sportsrack that I bought from Amazon was the very basic model.  The model # is SR4882.  To be honest, there is a downside to using this particular rack - there is no cushion on the jaws that clamp onto the frame of the bicycle so I use a cut in half pool noodle as a cushion to prevent the jaws from scratching the bike frame.  This works ok on metal framed bicycles but if you have a carbon fiber framed bike I would consider a different style of rack, something like a Rockymounts Tomahawk.

We used a brand called SportsRack which is a low cost subsidiary of Thule, purchased through Amazon.  The rack is steel so to keep the steel off the aluminum and prevent future corrosion, the racks are mounted on one inch thick UHMW and secured with stainless steel nuts and bolts.  Under the decking an aluminum plate was added to cover the ribbing that is the bottom side of the decking.

There are several styles of "roof racks" that can be bolted onto the rear deck.  Here is what we use for taking our mountain bikes with us on our travels.........

Here is a picture of the awning in place.  Note the guy lines that bring tension to the awning itself. . .care is needed when walking around the trailer after dark.  We have installed a motion sensitive light to help with that issue
