2015 Basecamp 6.0 Toy Hauler for sale.
The canvas/tent will need to be replaced. When I purchase it, I was hoping to have it patched to last a season or two, but once I set it up, I discovered additional tears. I've received a $900 quote from Top Stitch for the Realtree pattern and $750 for a solid color canvas. It comes with the optional Camp Kitchen.
The trailer is located in SW Michigan. I haven't yet transferred the title to my name in Michigan. If your state requires a title, it may take a little while, as appointments have to be made for this at our Secretary of State (DMV) office.
Asking $4800 for this rarer model Quicksilver, or $4400 if your state does not require a title (I will provide a Bill of Sale).

QuickSilver Tent Campers / 2015 Basecamp
April 16, 2021, 02:16:01 PM
I just purchased a 2015 Realtree Basecamp toy hauler.  It has a couple tears in the canvas.

Is the canvas/tent the same as that of a 6.0?

Is it possible to order a new canvas and from whom?

Thanks

I'm looking to buy  a 11FDB, preferably an early model without the bath, the one with a rear door entry.  Thanks.
Also interested in a CL10RD, CL12BH or 13BH (just learned of these older models).

Under the couch of the 2015 16DB is much wasted space.  The only thing under there is water lines to the outdoor shower.  Has anyone done anything with the wasted space?  I'm thinking of taking the front Azdel off, making a box, preferably aluminium, to cover the water lines and then use the stretchy cargo netting in place of Azdel.  Then we could use that space for more storage.

Also, I ordered a  Lagun adjustable table  top. I am thinking of mounting it on the side of the couch.  I ordered on with two mounts with the idea of mounting on on each end of the couch.  If that works out, maybe ordering another table top to have on on each end.  The one on the end near the bed could also serve as a night stand.

I do intend to keep the fold out sofa should we need a bed for a third person.  The purpose of mounting the Lagun on the side was so we could still use the sofa as a bed without having to remove the table to fold out the couch.

Also, how many have switched out the water heater with an on demand type.  I am thinking of an Atwood model.  Is the convenience of an on demand water heater worth it?

Any input from those who have made those or other similar modifications would be appreciated.   Hoping to have it all done before the upcoming camping season.

New Members / Hello from Michigan
July 14, 2017, 05:12:28 PM
I thought I had introduced myself already but can't see where I did.  I'm sure that I had on the old forum.
I have a 2015 16DB that I picked up just before Labor Day last year.  Just this past May, I picked up my second  LL, a 2012 11RD.in addition, I also have had Camp-Inn teardrop since 2004.
It is just the two of us, my husband and I, and our two dogs, so we don't really need anything larger, although it does get a little cramped in the teardrop with the two dogs.

I just picked up a 2012 11RD.  It has the dinnette/bed in the back and sofa in the front.  It has AC, vent/fan, radio/CD player, TV/DVD player, small refrigerator, propane stove and furnace, a sink with portable water and hand pump faucet and an awning.  It also has the Camp Lite carpets that snap onto the aluminum floor.
Are there other owners of this model that have made modifications or improvements?  Is so, what are they?
I'm thinking of adding some command strip hooks for hanging jackets and such, trying to see if I can find a second water tank (does anyone know?),
Also, what do you use to collect your gray water?
Thanks.
