We had mattresses made from https://www.mattressinsider.com/rv-mattress.html for or 16 TBS. Sleep like a baby now.

Sway control is nice to have with the light trailers.  Your F150 should be able to handle the 21 without an issue but check your tongue weight and owners manual.  I added lift bags to level out the truck while towing.

Chuck/Chappy..
what brand or type of panel do you have?
Our 16DBS is prewired for Zamp solar.  I haven't read up on this enough in the manual etc but the hookup looks similiar to a television cabel. plug............
Not sure how/where its hooked into via the power panel within...
Guess i need to go and read up on it.

Sorry for the delayed response.  My particular Solar Panel distributor is no longer in business.  Go for something > 100 Watts Amazon has some very similar to ours: https://smile.amazon.com/ECO-WORTHY-Portable-Polycrystalline-Foldable-Suitcase/dp/B00MGLIIQO/ref=s9_simh_gw_g86_i2_r?_encoding=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-7&pf_rd_r=S2JYBD4J5RPG5A5VC54P&pf_rd_r=S2JYBD4J5RPG5A5VC54P&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=eb9f3a57-8cdf-4fa3-a48e-183b5d4b6520&pf_rd_p=eb9f3a57-8cdf-4fa3-a48e-183b5d4b6520&pf_rd_i=desktop

What ever panel you go with make sure it has a controller module to prevent overcharging.  The above model does.

I use a quick connect like this one:  https://smile.amazon.com/BatteryMINDer-Connect-Disconnect-Terminal-Assembly/dp/B00KS6BLY0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489602557&sr=8-1&keywords=ring+terminals+quick+connect

You should be able to find a Zamp terminal to direct wire into what ever panel you go with.

Good Luck and hope to bump into you camping since we are both in NE PA.

I have an 80W solar panel that has kept our battery topped off for week long trips during the summer. Recommend you go with 100W minimum solar panel.

Ours came from the factory with a 4x4 bumper to allow us to use the Swagman adapter.

Not to Otter Lake but Tobyhanna. That is an easy trip for us. I will look into Otter Lake.

Upgrades and Modifications / 16 TBS Bath Sink.
February 18, 2017, 07:41:43 PM
Added this faucet & sink to our 16 TBS today. The sink will drain to a jug to save the grey water tank. The sink hangs on a rail to take down for showers and travel.

We have a 2016 16 TBS. Great camper. We like the King Size bed that is two twins to allow you to get out of bed with out climbing over anyone. It is the right size for a couple camping and the slide out really gives you some room. We are in our soon to be 60 age bracket so this camper is meant to drive around the county once we retire. If you want the Grandchildren to stay with you this camper is too small. I didn't sleep in a hard side camper as a kid so it is canvas for the kids and grandkids (someday). The factory mattress are too thin. We replaced with custom foam and sleep well now. Towing the CL is not an issue because they are not too wide. So if you want to have the kids or grand kids to stay with you get the 21 or if your plan is couple camping go for the 16. Good luck.

Upgrades and Modifications / Re: ceramic heater??

Pelonis is the one we used in CGs with electric or a little buddy heater when we did not  have electric. We are former 6.0 owners. Warms that 6.0 right up.  We turned them off while sleeping especially the propane heater.

Looking good. Maybe we will bump into each while camping in PA.

Assateague Island SP Maryland. The solar panel I bought is 80 watts. The company is no longer in business. Recommend you go for 100 watts or more.  Keeps the battery charged for us on week long trips. Not solar ready but an easy plug added to the battery. We ordered a 4 X 4 bumper added by the factory for the bike rack.
