Hey, another Marylander!  What dealer you getting it from?  I recommend reaching out to them, as they might not even be aware of the switch.

I am actually traveling out to Illinois to get it. The local dealer in Gambrills Md. (still 2 1/2 hrs away..over the Bay Bridge to boot) didn't have what I wanted and frankly had an attitude I didn't like at all.  I still like the features of Livin Lite. I love the design and I had faith in the company. That is being a little shaken right now by these reports of problems.  I have heard quality control issues on all manufacturers I researched, so I'm going to stick with my choice. However I think it's a crying shame that the lack of pride of workman ship these days has people forced to accept sub par work because there isn't any other choice. And I mean that in relation to most things produced, not just RVs.

Product Questions and Recommendations / 2018 brakes
August 04, 2017, 08:29:35 AM
With all the changes made to the 2018 (with a J in the vin number) ...I just need to verify that the brakes in the 16TBS  are either electromagnetic drum brakes or electric over hydraulic brake system.  Thanks Dan.

(Also..my trailer says "Proto built new way" on the sheet)

Oh...this really makes me sick to my stomach! I have a 2018 waiting for me at the dealer, I don't even have it yet. I researched the heck out of Manufacturers to make this purchase. I went with livivLite based on their past successes. I spent a pretty penny on this brand because of the quality. As a first timer, I am not happy hearing all this. Also, I'm not a handyman. I intend on knowing and maintaining my systems and my trailer, but I do not see myself climbing under and over the unit trying to repair things that shouldn't be improperly installed.  🤢

I'm wondering on the Platinum Package as well. The Livin Lite website makes no mention of it. I'm wondering what is now included in the Platinum package. I know someone shopping for a 2018 livin lite camplite.

Thank you again Dan..that's exactly what I needed to know!

General Q & A / LED bulbs and Fuses
July 21, 2017, 10:35:17 AM
Can anyone tell me the part numbers of the LED light bulbs on my Camplite 16TBS and what fuses I should take along in my "equipment" box. (I downloaded the manual from the ASK Livin Lite forumand don't see that information)

I do not have the trailer yet. I will be driving nearly 1000 miles to pick it up, and the first time trip will be driving it home another 1000 miles. I am building an equipment box with all the supplies I might need and I'd like to order a few of both of these items. Would rather not have to do this once I get to the dealer, as I want to be focused on the walk thru and the shake down and not running around buying every little thing!

Any input for this total newbie is appreciated.

Is the mount standard/included? and is it prewired with a plug connection? Is that plug connected to the running lights or the brake lights?, and is it compatible with all camera manufacturers? I am looking at a Furrion in particular.

Thank you!

I don't know if it helps Dan, but here is a picture my dealer took of the couch in the 2018 I just purchased.

Welcome! My maiden voyage is in August as well. Happy trails!

Thank you Dan!

Mitch your reply has helped a lot!!  Thanks so much for taking the time to link the items 🙂

I have the black tan flush system on my camper. Would I still need the back flusher? ( http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/flush-king/20522 )
Or do they do different things

So, if I get a hose, what length should I get? Will 10 do it? I don't want extra hose flopping all over.

And  I definitely need something to put the hose in. Ok, I'll look into that.

I'm thinking I should get 90 degree dump nozzle too?  Anything else I need for the black tank routine? Do I need that ratchet tool thing too?   I reeeeealllly want to make this as easy as,I can on myself. I'm nervous enough as it is!

I will be picking up my 2018 trailer in August. Is the ball size a 2"?  Do I need a special ball hitch for a pan off road 4x4?
It sits awfully high. Should I wait to get to the RV dealer and let him fit me with the correct hitch?

...the newb 🙄

I know it's a silly question, but it's not mentioned on the Livin Lite site in the standard equipment list. I don't see it in any of the pictures either. Since I'm traveling 14 hours out of my area to pick up my trailer, I'm trying to be prepared. If I need to buy one, I'd like to know.
Sorry for the newb questions, you're all probably going to get sick of me 😂
