Lowered price to $5000. This is really a great off road set up. I bought a 10.0 off road for more room for Grandkids and really need to move this one.

Red in color. In good shape, has a couple of stains on inside of tent. Outside looks great. Jackknife sofa has a couple of places where the vinyl is delaminating from the foam. Sitting on 37" Jeep wheels. Wheel bearing recently serviced. All electrical works as it should. I can text pic's if needed. I am located in Montgomry Alabama. Asking $6000.00

I guess I just gave up on the idea. Used a couple of fans about a month ago and it does ok once the sun goes down. Didn't have any problem sleeping at night. But during the day it's like an oven. Just have to keep busy doing other stuff during sunny periods. From what I have read, it's close to impossible to get it cool enough during the day here in central Alabama with 95 to 105 degree heat waves!
I do use mine off road and just didn't want to take the chance with cutting the wall and making an installation and then find out I killed the AC unit bouncing it around on rough roads...

Thanks guys! I appreciate the answers and also the dealer contact. Very happy with the camper and do use it off road during hunting season, so probably best to figure out a way to use a unit that can be left at home when not needed or just tough it out during the few times of summer camping with fans.

General Q & A / Air Conditioner for Jeep extreme

Living and camping in south Alabama, I would like to add AC in my 2011 Jeep Moab Extreme. It there a kit from Living Lite to make this installation possible, or do I need to figure this out on my own? Thanks for any help...

Jeep Tent Campers / Moab Extreme Jeep Camper
March 16, 2017, 12:00:59 PM
I have a 2011 Moab Extreme camper. Bought it used for a good price and have thus far thoroughly enjoyed it. Grandsons and I spent a lot of weekends this past hunting season in it without any issue what so ever. I purchased a Yamaha 2k generator since all our camping is in the woods. For heat, we used a little buddy heater to get the inside warm and when going to sleep, turned on an electric blanket. Pulls great, sets up quickly and sure beats sleeping on the ground. My tow vehicle is a 2007 jeep 2 door and pulls is nicely. Hopefully this summer we can hit some of the local state parks to continue the fun.
