I see now that the 8.0 has a tongue weight of 135 ! And a total weight of just under 1000lb so I think that I should have no problem towing with my RAV4

Also, keep in mind that published tongue weight specs do NOT include the weight of the battery and propane tank(s), if so equipped. On the QS campers, both of these mount directly on the trailer tongue adding their weight to the published trailer weight on the hitch.
.      I thought it included the battery weight since it's standard. Oh well I think hitch weight can be adjusted by off setting more cargo behind the axle

I live in Carol Stream , Illinois. I'm looking for actual weight with options. I'm concerned about tongue weight also. Isn't it written on the tongue?

Can anyone  please tell me the actual dry weight and tongue weight of your 2017 and 2018 10.0 and 8.0?
I really want to buy one but my 2013 RAV4 has a 1000lb w/o brakes, 1500 with brakes and a 150lb tongue weight limit.
                   Thanks, Sig     Ps. Also options

Are they automatic or do I control the trailers brakes?    I guess I'll find out what a breakaway is ,
and if I need one.
              Thanks, Sig

Thanks everyone! The owners manual says 1000lb with out brakes 1500 with . 10.0 weighs 1100 as far as I can tell. Tongue weight is 135 . Max tongue weight on rav is 150. So I think I'd be ok towing with the RAV4 ( depending on how much options weigh ( as long as I get the e-brakes)

We plan on ordering a 8.0 or possibly a 10.0 in the spring. I will be towing with a 2013 RAV4. Should I get the trailer brakes?

I live in Carol Stream Illinois. I am planning to buy a new Quick silver 8.0 next spring. My tow vehicle is a 2013 RAV4. We plan on ordering one with off road, air conditioning and LP package. Maybe also e brakes and awning. We have never owned a rv.
   Thanks, Sig
