Is there a way of changing the antenna on my BHB 13ft.
I really don't want to put a hole through my roof or remove the inside panelling.
Am I stuck with that flying saucer antenna that only works if your parked on the front steps of the radio station.
I'd look for loose connections first. I have the same antenna and it is awesome but only after the dealer found a loose connection. When I first bought it, it was terrible too.
The coax running to my radio from the back of the antenna booster is broken in my camper. I had to run a new one, now everything works fine. It was less hassle to spend an evening doing it myself than involve the dealer.
I used an old radio shack fm antenna rather the the rooftop existing HD TV antenna. Wow what a difference; many channels. Mounted above cabinet
For better vhf get a clearstream5 for better uhf get a Marathon antenae.
