Dwneaster, I know your frustration with LL. I searched for a very long time and was delayed by a divorce, before I got my 2009 QS 10.0. After just two trips with our camper we decided upon seeing a larger Camplite that we would eventually upgrade to the larger model only for them to go out of business. As for parts and stuff there are people out there making some smaller parts. Look for the Livin Lite Quicksilver owners group on Facebook if you are on there

The tent canvas can be obtained from TopStitch Upholstery in Elkhart or Gothenburg Indiana. There is a Facebook group for Livin Lite Quicksilver owners that has a member who can make the covers fairly cheaper. He also has some of the smaller parts that break available.
Hope this helps as unfortunately not many owners use this forum any more. I only occasionally check here since LL closed down.

Sorry, haven't been following this forum much and just found your question. We have a 2009 10.0 and I will have to double check but I think the earlier campers were made by Bearcat Fabrications and then assembled by Livin Lite. Check around the door for a decal. Also our spare tire is stored under the camper.

It's been a while since I have been on here and just seeing your post. Livin Lite is no longer making these campers so your best bet is to try and replace the poles on your own. Check with a metal fabrication shop or a metal supplier. The tent manufacturer is Top Stitch Upholstery in I believe Elkhart, In.

Look on Facebook under the Livin Lite Quicksilver tent campers owners page. There are a few owners selling their campers. Not many of us check this forum on a regular basis.

This is the company that made the tents in the past and they should be able to help. Don't quote me but I think the price for the 10.0 tent is around $800.00. The tonneau cover can be made at an upholstery shop or a boat cover shop.

Look forward to hearing how the sites are. We've heard about the new sites but haven't gotten there yet. We are going to Assateague in a few weeks for the first time.

We also took out the benches and table after 2 seasons. We found that we weren't using the benches and table inside the camper and that we mostly kept everything down in the bed configuration which we weren't using. So we took the benches out and bought 4 27 gallon plastic bins that we use to store everything. Two of the bins have our bedding materials, mostly blankets and sleeping bags. Another bin is used for the dog supplies and the last bin has misc supplies (fans, board games, electric lantern and various other items). In a couple weeks we will take one of the bins out since we don't expect the need for sleeping bags at the beach. This way we can have more room for another ez-up canopy.
When we set up camp we store the bins under the bunk end on each side of the trailer tongue. So we have a lot more space inside to move around and it is a little easier getting in and out of the rear bunk. its amazing how much room we have since doing this and it's easier to get things when we need them.

Welcome from Western MD. We make it to the shore frequently mostly to visit family with some camping mixed in. Have a trip to Assateague coming up soon. Look forward to crossing paths

Welcome. Have to admit I'm a little jealous of your maiden voyage. Some day we will make it out west to see all the magnificent areas. We'll take as much of the east coast in until then. Safe travels!

General Q & A / Re: greetings, and a few questions

Welcome from Maryland. First off I'm jealous that you have a garage big enough to set up your camper inside.

I wished I had taken pictures of the storage changes we made in our QS 10. We took the benches and table out and used 4 plastic totes from Lowes (27 gallon). We are able to store our bedding (blankets, sheets and pillows) in one, sleeping bags in another, miscellaneous supplies (lights, fans, board games, and other misc items) in a third and the fourth one holds pet supplies. They are easier to remove than the benches and they stack under the bunk ends when set up. This gives us more room inside at night and allows the dog space to pread out.

We generally use the picnic tables at the campground and it we need a table we can always take the original. However it is a small table for just the two of us and we found we never used it.

I'll get some pictures the next time we take it out hopefully around Mother's Day weekend.

Welcome! We have traveled and camped in NH several times and have really enjoyed the trips there. We have even kicked around the idea of going back there this summer. We always stop and talk to other LL owners so if we see you we will definitely stop and say hello. Safe travelers and happy retirement!
