Hi Graham, will that Honda eu2000i inverter generator be able to power a 1500w hairdryer? How quiet are they? Does that propane conversion kit connect with a snap connector like the ones used for grills? The reason why I ask is, we're thinking of boon docking this summer and my wife has to have a hair dryer.

It might be the late reply, but I'd like to add my twopence.
Honda generator eu2000i operates silently from as low as 48 to 57 dBA which is a lot more quiet than a normal human conversation. the generator able to run from 4 to 9,6 hours on a single fuel tank, depending on the amount of load available. This makes the eu2000i generator for a long time applications like powering up your air conditioner and refrigerator. Source:
You may carry the generator around without having to put too much effort on it. It has a lightweight design which makes it easier for you to carry it around.

In one of the newsletters on the aluminumcamperforum I wrote an article about how to install a portable 100-200 watt solar panel system which should be plenty for most users needs. Note that the article first tries to talk you out of solar by installing bigger batteries first  ;).

Hi David, would you tell me the detail url?
What portable power station do you choose for camping?
