After buying the printer, only 2 months have passed and for 2 days I have been trying to talk to someone from Epson about a refund or exchange for a new printer. I haven't made any progress.
Try contacting Epson Customer support using the epson customer service (https://epson.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html) website. I have three printers in my office, and lately I have been using only the services of this site to solve emerging issues regarding the operation and maintenance of this equipment, because it is practically impossible to get through to them by phone, as you correctly noticed.
