Title: Broken pole for QS/Bearcat 10x10
Post by: kd4ufd on May 30, 2018, 01:53:44 PM
Good day all,
Looking for an idea or answer for a problem
In the process os setting up my   QS 10. (2015) I ripped one of the pole which support the bed pans.  See pic below. Would it be best to replace or get someone to repair?

That looks like it might be tough to fix, but I'll bet any fabricator could make a replacement for you pretty easily.  For a quick fix, you could always drill holes on the good sides.  You'd have to do it on both ends.

order new tubing in the same dimensions from McMasterCarr and drill the holes.

Might even be able to get a thicker tube if there is room for that.
